Young Life is an international, non-denominational, outreach ministry introducing adolescents to Jesus Christ and helping them grow in their faith. We continue to care for and support all students regardless of their background or beliefs.
A group of athletes, parents and coach dedicated to fulfilling our dreams and creating lifetime memories, focused on realizing our goals while applauding the achievements of others, willing to preserve the integrity of swimming, and determined to have the “times” of our lives.
Today, through over 38 chapters nationwide, including the Lexington, Kentucky chapter, the Dream Factory grants dreams to children ages 3-18 who have been diagnosed with critical or chronic illnesses. The Lexington Chapter of the Dream Factory grants dreams to children in the Lexington, Southern and Eastern Kentucky area.
Light 8:12 believes first and foremost in bringing the truth of God’s word and light to children. We believe every child deserves one-on-one nurturing, adequate nutrition and the preparatory skills needed to yield success in school and beyond. Light 8:12 seeks to bring the truth and light of God’s word to the children of Kawangware through Bible lessons, songs and worship. Light 8:12 strives to meet the physical, emotional and educational needs of the children using age and developmentally appropriate activities.
Helping children in crisis shine. Sunrise Children’s Services operates three therapeutic residential centers, one psychiatric residential treatment center, five foster care regions with 11 foster care offices, family services and an independent living program that helps aging-out kids. Sunrise Children’s Services provides care for close to 800 kids and family members throughout the state of Kentucky.
