As The Kessinger Lee Group watches over the financial health of our clients, we start by focusing on the events that impact us in each of the four major stages of life. What are these four stages? We like to break it down according to age.
The Foundations Stage – ages 25-35
The Accumulation Stage – ages 35-55
The Conservation Stage – ages 55-75
The Legacy Stage – ages 75+
Over the next four months, we are going to discuss what each stage looks like and highlight some important financial issues that impact individuals differently during these stages.
In June, we will be focusing on the life stage of the ages of 25-35. With all the “firsts’ that happen in this phase of life, we like to call it the Foundation stage. During this leg of the journey, you are laying groundwork and beginning practices/habits that could last the next 50-60 years. Events like new jobs, marriage, having children, and home purchases all impact your financial health. Budgeting, insurance needs, debt reduction, and savings/investing habits are important items to discuss in this foundational stage of life.
Be watching our Facebook page (click here) for links and information that will help you, or your loved ones, as they walk this exciting part of their journey. Please feel free to share any information with anyone you know that is in this stage of life. And, as always, if we can ever be of assistance in helping coach you in financial decisions, no matter what phase of life you are in, please reach out. We are always happy to help in any way we can.
